Dear Parents,
It’s lovely to see the sunshine after such a long winter. Let’s hope we have many more happy sunny days to look forward to
A huge thank you to all those who came along to our Confirmation Mass last night
Congratulations to our 13 children who were Confirmed by Bishop Pargeter last night. They were prepared so beautifully by Mrs Williams and they were a credit to her and their families.
We are particularly grateful to all those who came along to support the children and the school.
Class 4 - Malvern Outdoor Centre Visit – 1st – 3rd March 2010
The children had a great time at Malvern and all came home exhausted. Thank you to Mrs Evans, Mr Davis and Mrs Camp who gave their time so generously. The website will be updated soon with all the adventures for you to see.
Class 5 - Alton Castle Visit - 24th-26th March 2010
Class 5 will be attending Alton Castle on 24th March. If you have not done so already, please make sure payment of £94 is made by 24th March.
Parents Evening
There will be a parents evening on Monday 15th 5.30-7pm and Tuesday 16th March 3.30-5pm.
Book Week: Monday 15th-Friday 19th March
If you would like to come into school to read to the children we would love to see you. Just let us know at the office or have a word with Mrs Williams.
Jungle Bungle
To introduce the week we are having a Theatre Group visiting the school on Friday 12th March.The production will be based on some familiar and a few new stories which is designed to encourage children to read.
Please send in a £1 to help with the cost of this production which will be subsidised by school fund. Thank you.
Dressing up as Book Characters
We would like the children to dress up as book characters on Friday 19th March.
Easter Fayre – March 19th after school
If you have any donations for Easter Fayre, they will be greatly received we need things for tombola, and raffle.
The Change team
Thank you to those who attended the Change Team Meeting last week. There was a representative from every Class. We reviewed last year’s questionnaire. For further details of items discussed please see the website.

Easter Mass
Please come along to our special Easter Celebration of the Mass in church on Wednesday 31st March at 2.00 p.m. Every one is welcome
Text Messaging/Messaging Service
I am happy to tell you the text messaging service was used to inform the parents that their children had reached the Malvern Outdoor Centre and there have been no problems reported back. Parents wishing to add their numbers to this service will be able to do so on parents evening.
Emails
This letter will definitely be going to all those who wanted to receive paperwork by email as we have been able to send a couple of items so far. Should you want to take up this offer, again, you will be able to give us your email address on parents evening.
End of Term
Please remember that term ends on Thursday 1st April as Friday is Good Friday. The children will then return on Monday 19th April 2010.
Holiday Club
Holly would like to run a holiday club for all parents who need child care for their children. There needs to be a minimum number of children, in order for the club to be viable. Please let us know as soon as possible, if you require a place. Please ensure that your child attends all booked sessions as non attendance effects the running costs. Please use the reply slip below. We would appreciate a response by Monday. Thank you.
